WHAT WE BELIEVE

Trinity- We believe that the three distinct persons of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, exist together as the One, True, Living God. Genesis 1:26; Jeremiah 10:10; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19; I John 5:7 

God the Father- We believe God the Father is, has always been, and always will be the One, True, Living God. Genesis 1:1; John 1:1 

Jesus- We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He was born of a virgin, yet still the Son of God. We believe He lived a sinless life, operated in the miraculous, and sacrificed His life as the ultimate atonement for our sins. We believe in His resurrection on the third day, His ascension into heaven to be seated at the right hand of God, and that He is coming again. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Hebrews 4:15; John 14:1-3 

Holy Spirit- We believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit working in the life of the believer. We believe He was sent as our internal guide, conviction, teacher, comforter, and that He equips us for a life of holiness, sanctification, and power. Matthew 28:19; John 16:7-11; Acts 5:3-4, Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Acts 1:8 

The Bible- We believe the Bible is the only perfect, infallible, written Word of God. We believe all scriptures were inspired by God and revealed to man for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 

Salvation through Jesus- We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, therefore all are in need of salvation. We believe salvation is repenting of sin by turning away from it, believing in Jesus, accepting Him into your heart, and confessing Him as your personal Savior. We believe the only way to heaven is through Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23; Romans 10:9-13; John 14:6 

Water Baptism- We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Water baptism is a representation of the death and burial of the old man, along with the resurrection of the new man. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4 

Baptism of the Holy Ghost – We believe that the gift of baptism in the Holy Ghost is available to all believers who seek and receive, and that it is accompanied with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39 

The Gifts of the Spirit- We believe in the manifestation of the nine gifts of the Spirit offered to every believer found in 1 Corinthians 12: 4-10. 

Sanctification- We believe that God is holy and has called us to strive for holiness, as well. We are called to live lives that are actively and continually in the process of being sanctified by the Word of God and His Holy Spirit in our lives. 1 Thessalonians 4:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 4;7; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Hebrews 12:14; 

Eternity- We believe the life you live on earth will determine how and where you will spend eternity. Those who are not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. Those whose names are written in the book of life will enter the city of heaven. Revelation 20:15; Revelation 21:23-27 

The Rapture of the Church- We believe that at the return of Christ, the dead in Christ will rise up to meet Him, and those that remain whose names are written in the book of life will be caught up, as well. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
